The Magic Thief is an amazing novel with alot of humour and it always leaves you wanting to read on. The book often leaves you guessing what will happen next, and adds alot of mystery to the story. The Magic Thief is based on wizardry. A young boy named Connwaer finds himself in the middle of an action-packed adventure, finding that he is a wizard, and that it is his job to save the magic from being taken in by the evil Pettivox, who had built a huge machine that captures the magic. There is another book after The Magic Thief, and if you try reading this book, then I recommend you read the series as well. You may think that this book sounds quite "cheesy" with all of the magic and wizardry, but it is very well written, and even if you don't like magic, I recommend you should read it. I myself don't enjoy reading any kind of book based on magic, but this book is by far my favorite and I am just about to buy the next in the series. Recommended for ages 9 and up.
